Isaiah 55:1-3 (KJV)
"Ho, every one that thirsteth, come ye to the waters, and he that hath no money; come ye, buy, and eat; yea, come, buy wine and milk without money and without price.
Wherefore do ye spend money for that which is not bread? and your labour for that which satisfieth not? hearken dilligently unto me, and eat ye that which is good, and let your soul delight itself in fatness.
Incline your ear, and come unto me: hear, and your soul shall live; and I will make an everlasting covenant with you, even the sure mercies of David."
Why do we spend our lives trying to find happiness in everything else the world has to offer, but not in God where true satisfaction is found. I am learning that the only thing in this world that will satisfy your soul is not money, not a nice car or house, not a good job, not even family or friends or whatever else you can think of that you think will make your life better.
Happiness is not found in getting, but seeking to attain the only true one, Jesus, he is the only one that can fill ythe void.
